A Mad Scramble by Donors for Plum Ambassadorships

I’ll admit this is a reach as far as baseball news goes, but William DeWitt an owner of the St. Louis Cardinals is in line for an ambassadorship in Europe somewhere.  It seems that he helped bail out one of the President’s oil concerns and was a co-investor in the Texas Rangers.  Details are at the very bottom of the first page.
