Going by the usual 5 game cutoff (and ignoring the NY/BOS playoff seeding race for now), slim pickings at the moment.
TEX 78-60 [1-0 in SEPT]
LAA 74-63 [1-0 in SEPT] (3.5 GB)
MLB.com: Amply supported Wilson flirts with perfection Starter C.J. Wilson helped the Rangers take their second consecutive series with a 7-2 win over the Rays at Ballpark in Arlington on Thursday.
Wilson retired the first 15 Rays he faced, but the 16th, first baseman Casey Kotchman, chopped a ball that appeared to deflect off Wilson’s finger before going for a hit.
MLB.com: Furbush stung by pair of Angels homers [Ervin] Santana, who allowed a season-high seven walks—after giving up six freebies in his previous three starts combined—kept Seattle in check just enough, despite allowing three runs in the third inning. A Howard Kendrick solo home run in the fourth ended up the difference, as Los Angeles squeaked by with a 4-3 win over Seattle in front of 19,453 at Safeco Field.

1. robinredSo now every other pitcher in baseball will be lining up to try the cryogenic chamber?
Don't worry Nomar, this was before you two were an item.
I don't know. I was at the game tonight, and he was listed on the scoreboard, and announced, as Howard Kendrick, so it must be how he wishes to be known.
That's no way for Warren Worthington III to treat a co-worker.
Impressive reach there, Walt.
The other day I was trying to explain to my girlfriend the phenomenon of the Reggie Cleaveland All-Stars, and talking about the rules. One of the main ones is the use of a diminutive nickname (especially if combined with an English last name).
Who are some counterfactuals (ie white guys known by a diminutive)?
-Richie Ashburn, the aforementioned Reggie, Johnny Bench
Yes. People fond of making the claim that the current alignment yields more races than a two-division alignment would have over the past 18 years should actually make the effort to, y'know, look at the yearly standings some time instead of just blindly asserting what they assume must be true.
Among the other millions...
Billy Ashley, Freddie Freeman, Jonny Venters, Joey Devine, Danny Haren*, Danny Kolb*, Joey Votto, Bobby Cox, Billy Butler, Billy Buckner...
I don't think this is particularly rare.
* - Haren and Kolb are both more commonly known as Dan, I think, but I've heard Danny for both.
were you eating ham at the dinner?
