NY loses 2 (Cle)
NY wins 3 (Cle)
it's obviously a pattern. Next up is NY loses 4 (Hou) !
Time to take 3 from the Arsetros and move on to the World Series !
Oh Yes ! !! !!! !!!!!
If it doesn't work out, no sweat. You went further than anyone expected.
PS: I can't believe Big Papi is a Fox Sports Baseball Expert. I can hardly understand a word he says.
They need 4.
Too bad both teams in the NL semifinal are absolute HATE teams.
Not, if they don't win 3 first.
5 is right out!
[ ] closer pitches in a tie game
[ ] height comparison between Judge and Altuve ([ ] both players in the same frame)
[ ] short porch leads to cheapie home run
No need to stay with a One Season Wonder like the Arsetros.
The Astros are hoping for the same!
If the Yankees lose, this will be the least I've cared about a World Series since forever.
You would know ! *big papi
LOL
Well THOSE people can be hard to understand sometimes. Or are these the guys that all look the same?
Those damn Boston Red Suckians... they speak like retards !
I got something for that ring ! *Big Papi
LOL
Means 335.
For once ...
STFU, weird announcer.
Is that Yun Taragoashi crap supposed to upgrade your whining post ?
Just chat, dude !
What?
1)I'm sorry we root for the same team (Giants), and
2) English is not his first language.
I think (fervently hope) the checklists have simply gone away forever.
That has to change !
TY Starlin !
Those days are gone.
His punctuation habits make me suspect that he's primarily francophone.
As to the other thing, he has professed to be a Yankees fan this offseason. So you're off the hook. And he has terrible taste.
Go CC, get some more Ks ! *CrémeDELAcréme
I mean, the ball is clearly juiced. It's not the Yankees' fault that they were the beneficiaries of it. It's the Yankees' fault that they're the Yankees.
Oh yeah ? You make those juiced balls ?
That is such bullshit. First of all, it wasn't that bad off balance and it WAS perfect contact.
I have hit homeruns like that hundreds of times !
I'm sorry. Most of us aren't looking at the inside of your colon.
Have you even played baseball once in your life ?
Just shut up.
Okay, hilarious. You're a parody account. I get it. Sorry I engaged.
Hope it doesn't influence his hitting ability.
How quickly people forget the great Gamingboy, whose anti-Yankees rants could've been collected into a large book. He was an original, just like AT-AT at bat@AT&T.
Ray would've caught it without taking his eye off Frasier.
So was Joey B.
He's on ignore as well.
Eh, they're not exactly wrong.
So was Joey B.
He went on ignore as well.
Someone can't tell a racist troll like Joey B from a pair of harmless free verse artists.
Sounds like a pleasant fellow.
Which is why it’s doubly embarrassing that Maybin out-Schwarbered him there.
Uh, yeah ... that's what AT-AT is ... a "free verse artist".
Pull the other one.
Are they just reviewing calls de novo now? I don't see how the call at first gets overturned if they're starting from "safe."
I agree that if you're reviewing the call fresh from the replay he's out.
Hicks’s ball was hit twice as hard as Frazier’s! Weak, but not Little League weak.
It's a great look. He catches the ball and then closes his eyes and braces for impact with the wall.
Health is a skill, and it seems he instinctively knows what to do to stay healthy. IE he knows he's airborne so straightens up his body and hits the wall with the part of his body (shoulder and side) that can most easily absorb the impact. Another player might have stuck out his hands to try to brace the impact, and fractured his wrist. In fact Judge pulls his wrist into his body for safety immediately after catching it.
Also: Being able to time the catch and the speed with which he approached the wall is important too. No crashing into the wall at 100 mph.
I don't exactly know what the "right" way to do this is, but what he did looked good, and I can imagine there's a wrong way for the reasons I say above.
Of course, now watch him leave the game with an injury....
If I'm a PBP guy, I take EVERYTHING into account ...
I'd take that reaction into account.
