Like pitch counts, PEDs aren’t going away.

One of the side effects of PED is invisible.

4 of the top 10 Rays prospects according to BA have been suspended for drugs use - Tim Beckham (pot), Ryan Brett (meth), Taylor Guerreri (pot), and now Colome (Boldenone).

Other Rays minor leaguers suspended for drug use in the last two years:

Josh Sale (former first round pick) - methamphetamine and amphetamine
Charles Cononie - methamphetamine and amphetamine
Justin Woodall - methamphetamine and amphetamine
David Wendt - Methylhexaneamine
Angel Yepez - Nandrolone
Brett Blaise - amphetamine
Mark Thomas - "drug of abuse"
Deshun Dixon - "drug of abuse"
Cody Rodgers - failing to take a drug test

And they still have Josh Lueke (rapist). Lawbreakers are the extra 2%!

Was gonna say the same thing as AG1 in #5 -- the Rays sure seem to have cornered the market on guys with drug trouble... It's ironic or tragic that the most of them - Josh Hamilton - actually did his best work once he left the organization.

I'm not one who cares much for the whole 'drug war' nor am I PEDist - but you'd think at some point, the Rays would recognize that they seem to have a problem of proportions beyond most other teams and try to do something about it...

I had thought that they had already recognized the problem and supposedly had worked to fix it. I thought it coincided with the Devil Rays attitude is different than the Rays attitude that Longoria(?) was talking about when they jettisoned some players.

No, I said invincible, not invisible. Invincible. Invisible would be impossible.

If all these guys are really testing positive for meth that is really something. "Amphetamine" could be adderall/ritalin or whatever, but meth is meth. Doesn't Joe Maddon live in a trailer? Just sayin...

I don't know abut that, but there's this rumor that he once crushed a guy by dropping an ATM on him
