1. shoewizard Posted: April 20, 2008 at 04:38 PM (#2751795)They have drawn 76, which is a pace for 724. THAT is what will sustain them when they eventually cool off. It's notable that Upton, Reynolds, and Young have exactly 1 HR between them in the last 7 days. Yet they keep scoring runs at a crazy clip. It's the walks and OBP that look like the key to me. It's been fun to watch. These guys are laying off tough pitchers just outside the strike zone. If they can maintain that approach, the offense will continue to roll most of the season.
Thats the teams first since April 7th. Yippee.
