Interesting that Robinson was involved in the 3 biggest plays by leverage index, twice positive (reaching on error and going to 2B, scoring on someone else's double) once negative (hitting into a double play).

Also odd how he was replaced in the 9th for defensive purposes.

At first I thought it was becaue Robinson was still learning to play first base, a position he'd never played regularly before, if at all. I wouldn't be that surprised at the Dodgers lifting him for a more experienced first baseman. But looking at his game logs, it's the only time they did it. The next time he came out of a game he started before it was over wasn't until June 30, and that was in the sixth inning, so it was unlikely to be for defensive purposes.
