Arizona Diamondbacks Agree To Terms With Second Baseman Aaron Hill

Can’t slick talk on the day of judgment
Your movement’s similar to a serpent

According to beat writer Nick Piecoro, the Arizona Diamondbacks have come to terms with second baseman Aaron Hill.

The deal is reportedly worth just over $10 million for two years and shores up the D-backs infield for 2012.

Somewhat sad that after signing two middle-infielders already this off-season Arizona STILL needed some shoring up there.

That's because they don't have GOLD GLOVE NOMINEE ("It's an honor just to be nominated, Al") Daniel Descalso penciled in to start at second.

*facepalm*

So, McDonald is the utility infielder and Hill is the starting 2Bmen. I think that means Bloomquist is the 4th outfielder.

Its not a huge overpay by any means, but it seems like a silly deal for a player I can't imagine was in any kind of demand this winter.
