So is Jackie Robinson, incidentally.

Hard to believe that Kevin Bacon hasn't worked with Ruby Dee at some point. Someone should cast them together just to reduce Robinson's Bacon Number.

But what's his Erd?s number?

I'm pretty sure the Babe was never more than 1 degree away from bacon. Mmmmm.... bacon.

"Eggs" Benedict has a Bacon Number of 3. Mmmmmmmmm.... bacon and eggs

Lou Gehrig and Joe D also have Bacon numbers of 3. Mickey Mantle and Derek Jeter are closer to Bacon, footloose and maybe not kosher.

Whenever Bacon is mentioned, I'm contractually obligated to mention the start of my Primer career.

I thought it'd be fun to post Reggie Jackson's Bacon Number but when I went to IMDB to look up the cast of The Naked Gun I just kept clicking links and finding new movies I wanted to see and going to Netflix and adding them to my queue and seeing how my friends rated those movies and I totally forgot to send the work e-mail I was supposed to send and now I'm in trouble so thanks, Kevin Bacon.

EDIT: double post.

With what we know today, you could lower ballplayers of the 60s Bacon numbers by using Doris Day as a link.

Heh, Edmundo. Also it turns out that the baseball universe is more Early Wynn or Warren Spahncentric. I forgot to account for how long baseball history is back in '01.

Ron Jeremy has a bacon number of 2. Which means virtually every porn actor of the last 30 odd years has a bacon number of 3.

Apparently every actor in the world worked on New York, I love you since that appears to be the main connection for a ton of people.

Yeah, Doris was a veritable mother figure to every motherf*ck*r in the Majors.

No, but that's three more I have to add. Thanks.

Marilyn Monroe was in the Misfits with Eli Wallach who was in New York, I Love You with Kevin Bacon who was in JFK. JFK was in Marilyn Monroe.

Or Marilyn Monroe was in Some Like it Hot with Jack Lemmon, who was in JFK with Kevin Bacon.

But yours is funnier.
