Heck, Garko will probably be the first baseman by then too. Just shoot me.
In this afternoon's game, Denard Span fouled a ball off that clobbered a fan in a Span jersey. It turns out it was his mom, and she had to be taken away by medical staff. He was totally freaked out and went with them into the tunnel, but after a short time both returned; she was able to watch the rest of the game while he went back to center field.
