I want to see some of those futuristic uniforms they dreamed up and played with like 10 years ago. Ugly but so very, very awesome.

You mean these, Dr. Spaceman?

Dear god! I've never seen that site before, 2!

I kinda like the Rockies ones. Also the Padres, very understated, but cool.

And the Rays knew they were going to drop the Devil part 10 years ago?

Every time I see the name Buster Posey, for some reason I think it's the love child of Buster Olney and Parker Posey.

Damn you, Buster Posey! (runs away sobbing)

Factions of crazies were up in arms about the "Devil" part of Tampa's nickname for years, so yeah, the Rays were of a mind to drop it for a long time.

The Mets ones remain beyond embarrassing. I still feel bad for Orel Hershiser.

Those are simple people. People of the land. You know, morons.

I give credit to the Mets for at least trying something different. All the other teams just enlarged their current logo. Boring.

Mercury Mets = awesome. Too bad about the Mercury poisoning that still haunts them to this day.

aww... it's his birthday today.

Apparently in reaction to the aging of the population, they felt that extra-large print was called for. The Indians one is particularly pathetic (and how prophetic!)

God, most of those are lame. And the Braves and Cards didn't even try.

The D-Backs one might look good as a t-shirt. The Rox are good. I kinda dig the Brewers with their Fielderesque (white and right-handed) Milwaukee pride. The Twins is hokey but cute. The Phillies is OK.

What is that symbol on the Mets? Seems to be the female symbol with horns on it. But the key question is what would playing on Mercury do to David Wright's HR rate?
   12. Shock Posted: March 27, 2010 at 08:36 PM (#3487240)
Uhhh...it's the Mercury symbol.

Oh, mighty Stars of the Future, how I wish someone would invent a household utensil that would do the work of all of these. Zip, zip! Amazing!

Unintentional.

I'm biased, obviously, but the Cardinals putting robot birds on a metal bat was a nice touch.

I like the little orbiting planet around the Twin handshakers. It looks like the cartoon symbol for dizzy, or drunk, or something.

I hadn't noticed that (didn't blow up the thumbnails) so I'll retract my earlier lame comment.
