Okay Alex A.; 6 pitchers in the top 77 prospects, and with Newcomb already up. Time to convert the young pitching to someone who can hit and play OF.

BP has both the prospects the Marlins got from the Cardinals for Ozuna as Top 100 prospects (Magneuris Sierra #56 and Sandy Alcantara #70), while Fangraphs has neither.

A Clint Frazier trade may be an option. NYY can use some SP depth.

By all means, bring Clint Frazier home to Georgia. For some reason, the Braves fan cognoscenti do not like Clint Frazier. I think we are going to run into the "you favor the thing you have more than others favor what you have" problem, with the fan base. There are too many good SP arms in the system to give everyone a chance, but god forbid we give up of any of them.

In fairness to Braves fan cognoscenti (not an oxymoron?), Frazier does have a whiff of Francoeur about him. Hopefully just a whiff.

Some of the other traded prospects,

Brinson 18 (Yelich)
Calhoun 43 (Darvish, already listed as a DH, ouch!)
Cease 47 (part of Quintana)
Monte Harrison 49 (Yelich ... I don't think I've seen him ranked by anybody else)
Perez 53 (Verlander)
Mateo 79 (part of Gray)
Rutherford 90 (Robertson/Frazier/Kahnle)
Fowler 98 (Gray)

Hey, a Cub at #95!! We're back baby!

Take it back on Harrison, he's #71 at mlb.com. Meanwhile at fg:

Brinson 13
Calhoun 46
Cease not-ranked
Harrison 52
Perez 100
Mateo 58
Rutherford not-ranked
Fowler 63

Alcantara was "considered", Sierra doesn't seem to have been.
