It really is a good speech:

The actor also talked about his first time visiting Wrigley Field as a child. The avid Cubs fan summed up one's first trip to a ballpark about as well as you can. "My heart just leapt and I thought 'Ah, this is where I'm supposed to be,'" he said of his trips to Wrigley. "This feels like one of my homes. Maybe I was at home here a long time ago."

Wow, Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become a South Atlantic League Hall of Famer.

His part about seeing Wrigley field for the first time was actually quite moving. I remember being shocked reading Curtis Granderson saying that if they tore down Wrigley, the fans would miss it for a bit but then start loving the new stadium just like the fans supposedly love New Yankee Stadium.

Awesome. I spit my seltzer at the ..."so I came as Chris Schenkel" line.

It takes awhile to build up memories. The Yankees have won a series in the new one right?

I'm a Redskins fan and I loved RFK and loathe FedEx field to this day

Maybe it's because he's a god? Not *the* God... I don't think.
