Is that a new rule around here? Cuz I like it.
This was against Lake Elsinore, who have really stupid hats.
FTFY
Years later, I always confuse Lake Elsinore with Lake Hemet.

This is fantastic post, particularly the link usage.
Not going to lie to feel popular.... these have been my favorite minor league hats for years now.
You can also get Lake Elsinore Storm memorabilia with this generic piece-of-crap logo on it.
Rico Noel has two for Lake Elsinore, giving him 46, against 8 CS. It doesn't look like he can hit, but he can run. I think that would lead the league at the 1/2 way point in most non-Hamilton years (3rd this year is Travis Witherspoon with 25). Noel was 62/5 last year across A/A+.
If they're going to overpay for it, they should do it soon -- the joke is already in a decline phase.
Those hats would be better if the eyes were on the back.
Anyone want to guess what Rico Noel's legal first name is?
Jablonski. Yep. I'm not joking. Jablonski Noel. Jablonski Rico Noel.
But yeah, Noel is a baller in his own right, just getting a little overshadowed by Billy Hamilton's ridiculousness right now. Noel was a stud at Coastal, he developed a ton between his freshman and junior years.
Tough call between "traffic jam" and "cue."
What an awful game that must have been to attend. 28 pitchers!
You're not kidding. The West Division made a mid-inning pitching change during each of the last *six* innings. That's an abomination against all that is holy.
Should the new Billy Hamilton be nicknamed "Sliding Billy" Hamilton? Clearly his nickname should be "[Participle] Billy", but should it be "Sliding" or another related verbal adjective?
Stupid rant over, I stand with a "NO" vote on "Sliding Billy Hamilton." Off the top of my head "Running Billy Hamilton" is the way to go.
Those three-letter abominations should be retired, but yeah. The nickname has to be a nod to "Sliding," but it can't be a direct copy. Names such as Stealing, Swiping, Running, Diving (if that's how he arrives at the bag) are what we're looking for.
Using the same name functions as homage and could draw attention to a cool period in baseball history.
