The Toronto Blue Jays have lost another pitcher to injury.

Reliever Jason Frasor has been put on the 15-day disabled list with tightness in his right forearm.

The move is retroactive to July 17.

For those of you counting at home, that makes eight Blue Jay pitchers on the DL

for the love of all that is holy will this ever end?!?!?

Seriously, what is in the water in Toronto?

Eight? I thought it was nine. Morrow, Drabek, Hutchison, McGowan, Litsch, Perez, Coello, Crawford, Frasor. Am I wrong about one of Coello and Crawford?

According to the 51s website, Crawford's on the active roster and he pitched yesterday.

I didn't realize Coello was placed on the 60 day DL, that's a shame. His forkball was a lot of fun to watch during his brief stay in the majors.

On the plus side, Frasor is only on the 15-day DL, whereas all the others are on the 60-day DL. He could still add to his total of three grand slams given up this year.

Forearm injuries often end up instead being torn UCLs. Just sayin'.
