Bobby Valentine continues to talk himself into trouble - BostonHerald.com

At this point the Red Sox organization is a fiasco. It’s one thing to lose, it’s quite another to lose with so much whining about the circumstances. After two World Series victories within the last ten years, the reputation of the front office and ownership is sinking lower than a gang-banger’s saggy pants. If I were John Henry, I’d be looking to diminish the role of the person who pushed to hire Valentine. Valentine’s “style” of managing was well known before he was hired. That ownership didn’t realize his style would conflict with the team’s existing culture and make significant changes to that culture to take advantage of his strengths, while preparing for the problems created by his weaknesses, just shows how dysfunctional things are on Yawkey Way.
