Boston Globe Online / Sports / Manager may try juggling to bring smiles

Joe Kerrigan better watch himself. Some of my fellow Red Sox fans might try slipping a chainsaw into his oranges juggling routine.

The Red Sox are the quintessential dysfunctional organisation. Collectively, the organisation and its fans are like a thousand tugboats tethered to a yacht, all pulling in a different direction. The desire for absolute control of every moment leads to winning some battles that may be more productive to lose which results in losing the war and its spoils. The "new england" mindset has yet to learn that control is achieved once control is relinquished. There are NO "i's" in team but there are too many "I's" in Red Sox Nation. The chip has become a boulder. It may take an avalanche to clear the harbour.

Tony,

I guess you want to make sure your comment won't be missed. Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure what your point is. Could you explain?

Thanks in advance.
