Everybody in Braveslandia is super double choked up about this guy, so I spend most of my time pointing out that Gregg Jeffries and Melvin Upton looked really good at 19 year olds too.

Damn. I was hoping Acuna Pipeline, the Braves prospect, was the hitter of the year.

Useless aside: when my wife and I went to a Gwinnett game recently, she said that Acuna looked like he was 12. It may be a baggy uniform, but there was no apparent musculature and his facial features looked very young. Either that, or we are getting old.

I would be stunned if he isn't a MLB beast soon. he dominates at every level.

He had 221 AB and 243 PAs in AA this year, where he hit 14 doubles and 9 homers. The Braves apparently asked him if he could repeat that performance at AAA, because he literally did, having 221 AB and 243 PAs while hitting 14 doubles and 9 homers. Spooky!
