Team #9 (10 if you count Washington twice, 11 if you count Montreal as being distinct from Washington.) Bill Hall, the onetime Milwaukee utility man, spilled the beans Friday that veteran right-hander Livan Hernandez was set to sign with the Brewers in Chicago, where the team was ready to begin an Interleague Series against the White Sox. Hall ran into Hernandez at the airport.
Hernandez, a 37-year-old, 17-year Major League veteran, will join the Brewers’ bullpen.

doug, this is stupid
good grief
Livan likes his money
doug, this is stupid
Does it matter at this point? He can be the whole shitty back half of the bullpen by himself. The shitty front half of the bullpen is still fucked, though.
The orioles are trying to convince him to make one more start down there (Gotta give Tommy Hunter one more chance not to suck, I guess?)
He's pitched quite well in his three starts: 16 Ks in 16 IP, no BB, 1.69 ERA.
