Bryan Minniti’s coming out party

“I’ve lived it… I’ve lived it the last six to seven years. I’ve had points where I felt really good, enjoyed everything, and then all of a sudden say – oh wait a second, this isn’t so good.”

One of the more revealing parts to the interview with the Pirates director of baseball operations is that they have brought Eddie Epstein onboard.

Nice to see front offices accepting of gay personnel.

You kid (I think), but it says he's 27, single, and loves jazz.

Gay people love jazz?

It would be funny if he was still an unpaid intern.

The Pirates front-office team has now been together since November and differences in the new regime’s philosophies are already becoming apparent. The most obvious being a ‘value for value’ attitude in regard to trades and free agent signings.

Sounds crazy, but it might just work!

“This whole thing is built on trust and relationships.”

That is really too much.

Is the article really about him being gay, or is it a poorly chosen title?
