Bryce Harper applies warpaint for Game 2

Bah! Mike Trout applied some serious WAR paint for a whole season (nearly).

The shadows were a big topic of discussion among the players before Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the Washington Nationals and St. Louis Cardinals.

But it appears Nationals’ Bryce Harper, who is playing center field, is well prepared for the glaring sun.

Harper has applied a large amount of eye black to his face, reminiscent of his face-painting days when he was at College of Southern Nevada.

TBS broadcaster Bob Brenly joked that maybe the Nationals make-up artist took the day off and even asked if Kiss was adding a fifth member to the band.
