The Twins made history today by homering in each of the first 7 innings of their game against the Padres.

Yeah, I mentioned that in #65 except I thought they tied the Reds feat in 1999. But the Reds did it in the second through eighth innings.

I don't usually bodyshame but Fieldin Culbreth is a fat tub of goo. MIA/PHI is entertaining tonight, given their records.

baseball gods are either forgiving the dodgers or setting them up for a real punch in the gut ...
   104. Dog on the sidewalk Posted: September 12, 2017 at 11:47 PM (#5530600)
Carlos Gonzalez is going nuts.
   105. Bote Man Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:15 AM (#5530604)
I'm going with gut punch.
   106. Los Angeles El Hombre of Anaheim Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:21 AM (#5530605)
Uh oh. Turner can't make the play, bases loaded. Another Dodger collapse?
   107. Los Angeles El Hombre of Anaheim Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:26 AM (#5530607)
Angels can't touch Verlander. One hit? That's all we got, one g0ddamn hit?
   108. Los Angeles El Hombre of Anaheim Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:31 AM (#5530608)
Kershaw gets out of it, a huge K with the bases loaded! 4-2 Dodgers after six.

Angels, you're killing me.
   109. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:39 AM (#5530609)
Dodgers have blown a lot of good scoring opportunities today. Bullpen must protect this two run lead.
   110. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:42 AM (#5530610)
And Stripling promptly gives up a leadoff double. #### everything
   111. Los Angeles El Hombre of Anaheim Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:44 AM (#5530612)
The Dodger bullpen's totally going gag this up.
   112. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:49 AM (#5530615)
4-3 now. Morrow and Jansen have no margin for error
   113. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:57 AM (#5530617)
Huge double by Turner. 5-3
   114. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 12:58 AM (#5530620)
3IBB to Bellinger lol
   115. Los Angeles El Hombre of Anaheim Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:01 AM (#5530621)
Down by a run in the 9th, Brandon Phillips stretches a single into an out. Angels lose another one.

Sigh. Siiiiiiiigh.
   116. Bote Man Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:03 AM (#5530622)
Derek Law and Austin Barnes look like goofy twin brothers.

Due batters: Hundley (OK), Slater (WHO??), Calixte (oh dear). I don't think the Giants are going to close the gap.
   117. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:05 AM (#5530623)
Dodgers are now 1-12 with runners in scoring position with 13 LOB, the anti-clutch
   118. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:13 AM (#5530626)
Looks like Jansen for a four out save opp
   119. Bote Man Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:37 AM (#5530630)
Or the 2 out blown save, maybe??
   120. Baldrick Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:38 AM (#5530631)
This is hilarious.
   121. Joyful Calculus Instructor Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:45 AM (#5530635)
The losing streak is over!!!!!!!!!!!!!
   122. Bote Man Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:46 AM (#5530636)
Hundley was 0-9, 9K, 1BB against Jansen. Make that 0-10, 10K now. It's almost as if that AB had been totally predictable.
   123. Tom Nawrocki Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:16 PM (#5530871)
The Indians are losing!
   124. Count Vorror Rairol Mencoon (CoB) Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:43 PM (#5530890)
Not any longer.

David Schoenfield, ESPN Senior Writer

Frustrations are boiling over for the Tigers, Feeling that Buck Farmer has been getting squeezed, catcher James McCann and then manager Brad Ausmus were ejected by home-plate ump Quinn Wolcott. Backup catcher John Hicks then "missed" a pitch that hit Wolcott in the shoulder. Yandy Diaz then just missed the knockout punch, lining out with the bases loaded with two outs. And we're only heading to the fourth.
   126. Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: September 13, 2017 at 01:58 PM (#5530900)
Yeah, the zone hasn't been great so far. When you've won 20 in a row, you don't really need any assistance.

Of course, that's hardly been the difference maker here. This is about as bad of a Tigers team as we've seen in a decade.
