Calcaterra: Bieber Fever coming to World Series

If three minutes of bubblegum pop makes even a couple thousand new baseball fans, I for one will be happy to endure it.

But will Washington get Bieber into the game before Neftali Feliz?

He was actually OK on his SNL appearance last year - not the music, but his appearance in a skit with Tina Fey. He seemed like he had the ability to laugh at himself a bit.

One of these days, in honor of Elvis Andrus, I hope the Rangers bring in Elvis Costello to sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame."

I just found out about a month ago that this kid's name is not Justin Beaver - which I thought was a marvelously subversive name for a fey teen heartthrob.

I'd rather see Elvis Presley.

In a recent issue of US Magazine, it was revealed that Bieber will have a line of nail polish in WALMART stores by December. Okay, anything for a buck, I guess.

I wish I could find that hard to believe, but after watching two teenage girls flip out over a post of him in an art supply store, I have no doubt they'll be big sellers. Ick.

Its not just the teenage girls, its the moms who would probably risk jail to #### JBiebs.

This.

Stay classy, Washington.

Never saw him seduce MILFs.

Craig, what have you done?

Put you in the same Bieber-centric universe my daughter has put me. You're welcome.
   13. Biff isn't really an apt handle anymore Posted: October 29, 2010 at 11:30 PM (#3679666)
The main thing I can't figure out is why he's considered hot by teenage girls. If that look is hot, I should have been all the rage in high school!

If that's what you look like, the junior high school world is now your oyster.

Aw, man. I thought you guys were better than that. I hope somebody mentions Pavement soon just to bring back some respectability to this thread.

But could Justin Bieber have been able to invade Britain? That is what all the girls want to know.

It's a pity Elvis died so soon, his Pavement cover album could have been a classic.

According to (unconfirmed!) rumors, BB Chick, Justin is "big for his age"....

If only for the medley of "Blue Hawaii" and "Blue Hawaiian."

If I learned anything from growing up, it is that high school girls love guys that look like junior high girls.
