Wait, didn't we link a bunch of these here like 13 years ago?

That sun is supposed to be the Rays?

I had the same thought. I definitely remember a series of Asian baseball comics (possibly Korean or Japanese).

Yes, the rays have a star like that in their logo. (well, it's pointier)

Here's the thread from 2005.

Unfortunately, the link to the cartoons doesn't seem to work anymore.

I can't believe you didn't post the panel with Jim Johnson in some sort of battle suit!

The cartoonist's name is Choi Hoon. Here are his MLB cartoons from 2004 through 2008.

In the new one about the Orioles, you can see an "87" at the bottom. So you can see the other 86 cartoons he's made for Dong-A in 2012-2014. Almost all of them are about the Korean League, but #86 has pictures of Billy Beane and Brian Cashman.

Korean for "A-Rod"? Did any of the other 86 cartoons feature centaurs?

Can someone translate the translation? "They are a part of packed, one of the worst divisions to survive"?

According to my wife: "More like...'It is loaded, one of the toughest divisions to win'"
