Cardinals’ DeJong Joins Scientist To Test Effect Of Heat On Baseball « CBS New York

Dr. Rocks certainly has the mad scientist look down cold.

In a chemistry lab at Long Island University Post, an alliance between sports and science has been born. Dr. Lawrence Rocks is the world-renowned scientist, while Paul DeJong is a shortstop with the St. Louis Cardinals who has a degree in biochemistry.

I am very intrigued by this, as they probably made the stupid drop test for the video, as this makes a lot of sense, as the hotter the ball, the less dense it gets, good lord, another thing to look in to is having how people keep baseballs
