Walks Clog Up the Bases Posted: May 16, 2008 at 04:55 AM (#2782870)I've seen that game mentioned here a few times and this latest reference got me thinking: I have more vivid memories of specific games and moments from 2004 than any other season. I remember a lot of moments from various games over the years, but when it comes to 2004 Cubs baseball, I can recall things like where I was and what I was doing during certain games.
Maybe it's because unlike any other season of recent vintage, 2004 was a year in which the Cubs weren't expected just to make it to October, but cakewalk it to the World Series.
What, the half-shirt's not good enough for ya?
