However, one of these is not like the others. Well, two things, actually: this year's pitching and last year's hitting.
If you subtract Wang's 23 runs allowed, the Yanks are allowing 5.4 RPG. That's not as good as the recent past, but that would give them an above-average performance in the AL East (though still high for the AL in general).
