Citing schedule conflicts, Ravens decline invitation to take part in O’s Opening Day

“Orioles fans stood and applauded Friday as an image of Joe Flacco hoisting the Lombardi Trophy flashed on the video board at Camden Yards, part of an Opening Day tribute to the Super Bowl champion Ravens.

But the friendly public moment belied a bit of unseen intrigue as several members of the Ravens organization, citing scheduling conflicts, declined to be on hand for the pregame ceremonies.”

Fu€k the ravens! Football has a sense of entitlement and thought the O's would cave but thank God they didn't. Have them play on Monday night. ############!

Yeah, this is some bullshit. Grow up, Ravens.

Their collapse to 5-11 with the vastly overrated Flacco will really be enjoyed by me (full disclosure, I am a 49ers fan). Flacco to me is a much luckier Kerry Collins or Marc Bulger, riding a few bombs and a lot of luck to being the most overpaid player in pro sports.

Interesting...a few years ago it was the ORIOLES that were seen as the 'pi**y neighbor' in the duo. Now it's the Ravens' turn.
