Cleveland Signs Japanese Outfielder

Makoto Sasaki only got 55 at bats in Japan last year. He hit .273 with one homer.

He hit .259 with 1 Homer and 21 RBIs in 251 At Bats in 1999 and hit .304 with 13 homers and 57 RBIs in 1998. He looks to have had some speed in his youth as he stole 40 bases one year. The stats I have don’t have walk totals so I don’t know about that area.

He turns 35 in October.
