Coco Crisp’s New Haircut is Interesting

Oakland A’s centerfield Coco Crisp’s afro is famous. Why it even has its own blog.

We regret to inform you that Coco Crisp no longer has an afro. Instead, he has this:

It’s Kid ‘n Play in the front and party in the back. Can we call it a kullet?

Since the A’s won and Crisp, who came back form injury this week, had a big game, we think the kullet might be here to say. What do you think? Do you prefer the new Coco Crisp or the old, classic one:

Built-in headrest.

It's a "this side up" marker.

It's a fake beard so that fielders can't tell which base he's running towards. Now he just has to wear his cap sideways to sell the illusion.

Steinbrenner says he needs a haircut.

It looks almost poodle like.

Coco's Fishy Kullet doesn't have the same ring to it.

He's got some competition. Jose Reyes has been rolling with this look for a good bit of the year.

That's where they held his head while dipping him in the River Styx.

Likes like a giant ear wig. Must be the alien host on all the A's that had propelled then to the best record in baseball.

I think you're right. I like Crisp, but that haircut is just awful.

One other possibility: a poorly tuned diesel lodged in his cerebellum, which will disrupt his hand-to-eye coordination and lead to a precipitous drop in his OBP and his fielding effectiveness.
