cubs.com: Piniella, Sinatro take a wrong turn on the way to Cincinnati

Their explanation doesn’t make a whole lot of sense.

“Matty was driving,” Piniella said, “but we actually ‘Googled’ the trip, and we were ‘Googled’ to East Liverpool, Pa. Who in the heck knows? On the sheet we had, it was ‘Cincinnati to Liverpool.’ I was thinking, I was in Cincinnati three years, and I didn’t remember a ‘Liverpool’ around the area.”

Sounds like they may have been victims of that dirty, no-good, robbin’ Maggie May.

They should have called Pascual Perez.

Blame Matt Sinatro - he wouldn't want it any other way.

Anyone who can't score from third base on a single has a curse hanging over him.

That happened in one of the most amazing games I've ever seen.

I lived in Cincinnati for 5.5 years, and I never I never had any trouble driving back to the city, except from the time I took a wrong turn in Lexington, KY, and ended up in Louisville.

Not surprisingly, Sinatro failed to follow directions in that game as well.

I undersand that Bugs Bunny is a big Isotopes fan, but he liked it better when they were the Dukes.

Ending up in E. Liverpool while trying to get from Chicago to Cincinnati is quite a feat. There are no nearby interstates, and it's quite a ways out of your way. Do detectives believe that alcohol was involved?
