Curt Flood

Here’s a brilliant post, or rather essay, celebrating Curt Flood’s heroism and his legacy.

The author concludes with a rousing endorsement for Flood’s selection to Cooperstown.  All I can say is “Here, Here!!!”

It’s worth the read.

When I see this type of intro from a site I've never heard of, posted by a Primate who just joined, I always feel like the submitter is the author trying to drive traffic to his/her blog.

Here's a hint: if you really want us to read your stuff, try not to use words like "brilliant" and "rousing" in the intro before you establish some credibility elsewhere on BTF.

And, for all that, I still can't give a #### about Curt Flood. Sure it's wonderful that baseball players are getting money team owners would otherwise get, which brought us the sight of multiple strikes by millionaire athletes.

I just can't give a flying ####.
