Dan Szymborski FanGraphs Chat – 6/18/12 | FanGraphs Baseball

It’s too late to catch Dan live but it’s not too late to read more witticisms like:

Comment From Grand Admiral Braun
The White Sox able to pry Headley from SD? I’ve gotta believe he’s a hot target - 20-25 homers yearly once out of SD?

12:59 Dan Szymborski:
Headley would be an awesome pickup by the White Sox.

1:00 Dan Szymborski:
He fits the roster better than a playskool workbench peg.

I wonder how much it would take to acquire Inanimate Carbon Rod.

Headley's not even arb eligible until next year, SD is in no hurry. He's also already 28 I notice. He'd better hope he gets the Michael Cuddyer Memorial contract in 2016.

Dan Szymborski: It's kinda hard to bench Frazier after what he's done and if Rolen's healthy, he can be valuable. I'd probably do what the Reds are probably going to do, play Rolen if he shows he can contribute and put Frazier in left until he turns into a pumpkin or stays whatever the opposite of a pumpkin is

I say we call the opposite of a pumpkin a "bautista".
