Adam Jones needs to put on about 150 pounds if he wants to blow bubbles while fielding fly balls like Kung Fu Panda.

I don't know about terrible, but he definitely accelerated at the end. If he had been running like that the whole way, he would have caught it easily.

Yeah, after seeing the replay that wasn't just a bad defensive play - it was a total disaster. Break the wrong way, take a poor route once you start going back, and fail to run fast enough.

It's plays like that where I sympathize just a little bit with the stereotypical dumb baseball fan because it just makes me want to scream "put some effort into it!! Act like you care about winning the game!!"

And even the bleachers have been muted somewhat in the new stadium. At most of the games I've been to, security generally tries to make people behave themselves, which results in a noticeably less boisterous crowd during the down periods of games. As a whole, I don't consider this is a negative thing though.
