The team leading the series is confident. But also, too, the team behind in the series has their backs to the wall, which gives them confidence.
"I was incredibly confident."
Which is which, again?
Buck is one of my least favorites. The way he talks somehow bugs me.
That said, I will never forget his tagging two runners out at home, the second one after the first one broke his leg: video
It wasn't open until the passed ball. Since that was the 1st pitch of the AB, you're right, they should have gone ahead and loaded them up to force Bochy's hand. I wasn't thinking about it because it wasn't open when the AB started. Guess I failed the test.
I watch most baseball with a 2 year old that sits down to watch 6 seconds with me every 11 minutes and spends the rest of the time trying to prevent me from watching baseball. The details are often lost to me.
I didn't realize Arias was hitting in front of the pitcher. Bochey cleared his bench in the 8th and I didn't update my book.
Reds pitchers had 16 Ks, 1 BB, and 3 H; yet lost.
Well, doing it before throwing the sphere to the plate is against the rules...
???
1995 Mariners!
Might be. Do you have one of those configurations where your DVR automatically records whatever you are watching? My dad has that setup so whenever you switch channels it takes about 5 seconds to load since the DVR is building space.
I'm guessing some type of Towel.
feeling like a stranger in a strange land, and yet somehow home, too..
