Told ya: Samsung.
502 - well played.
Nice play all around by the batter and the pitcher and Descalso.
EDIT: Noooooo. They'll just ph for the ph
Sure seemed like Espinosa decided to bunt on his own.
Either that or he did it on his own because Morse sure didn't look like he was expecting it.
Suzuki has been coming up big in the last couple weeks of the season. Athletics waived him, he waved at strike 3. Oh well.
First batters are OBPing about .600 against him...
I don't see how he didn't score on that play. It was a good enough bunt to do that.
It looked like he was cursing himself after the throw was made to first. So yes, I guess. It was probably a safety squeeze that Morse missed.
Bad news....this is a terrible move. Tracy can't possibly catch up to Boggs' FB, right? Matheny makes the worst moves.
And they PH with Moore. This is a horrible, horrible scenario.
Or he did it because he can't buy a swinging base hit.
Yep.
It's close to being over, can't give up yet, but agree with everything in the quote. Motte should have been pitching or Boggs should have been left in there.
Wait until you see bad Clipboard on the bump here for the Nats. Salve for your wounds.
Just like it was game over every time Tigers fans said that earlier today!
Matheny is an idiot, who knows what he was thinking. That was the worst possible outcome in that situation and it was totally his fault.
I don't think anyone liked it, were just commenting on it, and someone was clarifying exactly what that feature is.
sigh
Oy, that replay makes the 1B look kind of lame as well.
I don't understand what they mean by 'playlist'. Are they transferring a list's worth of songs or just a list that plays on some online site?
Complaining about the strike zone again, eh Harveys?
That's top prospect Oscar Taveras.
Just the playlist(list of the songs...not the actual songs)
You expected better? Matheny does not have any sort of tactical ability, as he has displayed all year.
Carpenter will move to 3B, right?
I always enjoy when I'm watching a game I think I have no interest in and then discovering I am rooting for someone.
Of course in this case your instincts are wrong, but what can you do :)
That's not a feature that I would be bragging about.
Sure.
give me a break. if that was against a cardinal you would be discussing 'facts'
it was an observation supporting my contention that umpire quality continues to degrade as nobody is holding them accountable
does anyone believe that the umpires have not regressed over the last few years?
i
it's pointless. save for perhaps phredbird a rational discussion is not possible
As it stands, the only pitchers that should ever pitch in a 9 inning close game, is Motte, Boggs, Rosenthal and Mujica.
But he's the closer! He can only pitch in the 9th! #firematheny
