Division Six OmniChatter

By the end of the day, at least two teams will be eliminated since baseball is a cruel sport and October is a harsh mistress. Or something like that.

One thing that makes postseason baseball, and especially elimination games, so cool is that the teams are doing everything they possibly can to win the game, including putting starting pitchers into the game in the sixth inning.

Which is what makes it so bizarre that the Nationals have left maybe their best pitcher on the bench.

It's great that they chose a good song this time, but I always enjoy when they use a song that really doesn't mean what they're trying to say in the commercial, because a couple of lines fit the theme they're presenting.

Lohse does the little things. Fields his position very well, so quick to the plate he's almost impossible to run on. It goes to explaining how a guy with pretty pedestrian stuff is a 4 WAR pitcher this year, and probably should be counted on as an above average starter the next few years.

What's the record for most consecutive Ks by a staff? Fister set the AL record with 9, right?

EDIT - It is 10, by Seaver. I guess the walk broke it up, but still impressive by the Nats.
