As someone who sits in the rightfield bleachers at Yankee Stadium several times per year and similar seats to Jim Esterbrooks many times at the Vet, and heckled both home and opposing players depending on my mood (I'm a Yankee/Expos fan, so when the Red Sox are in town, I heckle the visitor but when Expos or Yankees come in I turn it around), all I can say is that this is the heckler's dream.

To have the GM of a major league team actually come back at you would be phenomenal. To know that you got under his skin is a dream that few hecklers get to realize. To use an old Bill White WPIX saying from early 80's Yankee games, "You know what happens every time a heckler hits a home run, hey Jim Esterbrooks, this Bud's for you!"
