The driver’s seat for the Nationals bullpen car is open.
According to the job listing, which was posted Monday, duties include charging the cart’s battery, monitoring a live feed for potential pitching changes, and of course, driving the cart to and from the bullpen, dugout, and center field gate.
The lucky driver gets a team radio to communicate with other employees as well as a “pitcher preference document” that lists which players do and do not want to use the cart to get to the mound.
RAMMING SPEED!
