It would be nice if you could get ESPN to allow you to give out X number of free Insider subscriptions to top posters on the site (Mainland, not Lounge)

The idea being that if the top commenters can all read your articles, then they are more likely to comment on the thread. And then other readers, after reading the thread, are more likely to be interested in reading the articles, and more likely to subscribe to Insider.

Since you have their email addresses from registration, you could limit the subscriptions to just those posters, rather than giving out a code that could get improperly used.

Regarding Lee on short rest, I think the essay would have been much stronger if it had noted that Lee has never made a start in the majors with less than four days rest, and that his ERA is markedly better when he pitches with 5+ days rest. Dude, he linked a method to get it for $3! $3 is essentially free. If you don't buy it at $3, either you don't want it at all or you can't afford it because you make 8 cents an hour at the prison laundry.
