Ex-Marlin prospect has grand reunion

I find it astounding that the Marlins never gave a guy who hit 85 HR over the 1997-1998 seasons at AAA a shot. Especially the Marlins! After the big post World Series fire sale they released Daubach, I believe. What did he have to do to get the call?

The only thing I can think of is that Daubach crossed the picket line and he was black balled by the organization.

I found it awfully puzzling that the scout called Daubach a "late bloomer"... he didn't hit any better in Boston than he had at Charlotte!
