Ex-Yankee Roger Clemens struck out in sack, alleged mistress Mindy McCready says on sex tape

The Rocket was no Cy Young winner in the bedroom, and certainly had nothing on Superman, according to comments made by country singer Mindy McCready on a salacious sex tape that reportedly will be released next month.

According to a Fox News report, the tape features McCready in a compromising position with a former boyfriend named “Peter,” but the singer is also interviewed on the tape dishing about her long-term romance with pitcher Roger Clemens, a relationship first reported by the Daily News two years ago and which McCready confirmed.

The unkindest cut of all.

He's no Tiger Woods.

As an aside, why would you pursue a pointless extra-marital relationship with an athlete that isn't any good in bed? It doesn't make any sense. So you can brag about it? Get in the papers? Hush money?

Sadly, I read the article, and she actually said that Clemens WAS good in bed. Just some problems at times with ED, and not as good as another ex, Dean Cain.

She was like 13 when they tied up, so she may not have had the experience to tell good sex from bad.

So what's more embarrasing:

Having your between-the-sheets prowess dissed by a former conquest?

Or when the most salacious part of your Soon-To-Be-Released Sex Tape is the dialogue?

Dean Cain dated Brooke Shields when they were at Princeton, and IIRC he may have taken her virginity.

Yes, but did he have hypogonadism?

This is just more evidence of the steroid use. Clemens' testes, shrunken from steroid use, made Clemens weak in bed.

I suppose I should google it, but Who the F is Dean Cain?

EDIT: Wikied him. Don't feel any better for it.

Well, how old are you? If you're younger than 25 it may explain the disconnect.

As to the ED problems, has McCready ever considered that maybe the problem was that she wasn't appealing enough? I mean, if she was constantly saying insane stuff like this then maybe Clemens was having trouble getting into her. ("Into" here meaning either figuratively or literally.)

"I never wanted to marry Roger Clemens," McCready told The News in 2008. "I wanted him to do right by his family."

I may be naive about ED, but it seems to me that the vast majority of "ED sufferers" are actually "not into their wives anymore".

Then allow me to amend: "...or older than 40."

There was really only a small demographic to which Cain was ever relevant.

I never watched an episode of the Lois & Clark show, but I was acutely aware of it since I was into the actress who played Lois. ("Into" here meaning figuratively, not literally, unfortunately.)

I think what they are saying is that they never even got to countdown, due to stability issues with the launch tower.

I wouldn't call him relevant, but I knew who he was because my girlfriend at the time liked the Superman show. I guess I'm part of that demographic.

Ray, despite disagreeing with you, I have no problem with you aggressively arguing over whether Clemens used PEDs. However, there's something really creepy about your decision to defend Clemens' inability to get wood.

Or at least attempted humor.

Meh. He starred in the soap version of Superman, and it's not like the character is very demanding of an actor... unless red kryptonite is involved.

I don't know, maybe not sleeping with a married man would be helpful in that department.

However, there's something really creepy about your decision to defend Clemens' inability to get wood.

Indeed. But there's something even creepier about the fact that he started seeing her when she was 15 and he was 28.

For the record, I know who Dean Cain is (pretty...) but had no idea who Mindy McCready is.

Nah. According to my female friends, he's the second best looking Superman ever (behind Christopher Reeves). They say he had that all-American charm and looks down pat.

The bad side effects of steroids involving the hormonal system in men include decreased natural testosterone production, decreased sperm count, production of abnormal sperm and shrinkage of the testes.

Breast tissue enlargement problems are also common side effects of anabolic steroids in men as is acne, glucose intolerance, and baldness.

Wonder if Roger's teammates used to stare at his rack. Maybe at least his bra will go the HOF seeing as he's not.

Clemens had ED because Mindy McCready would say that she was vegan, and he'd get confused, and wondered if she meant that she was saying that she horny maybe, or menstruating.

Also, I don't think the Mindy McCready story is going to have a happy ending.

I dunno, sounds like he led the league in strikeouts.

And, as #13 suggests, maybe he was just pitching to the score.

Clemens really liked the movie Hard Candy, though he was only able to watch the first 15 minutes.

If he were going to defend Clemens, I would think he would point out that a woman describing her former boyfriends to her current paramour might not be the situation in which one would expect the most accurate description of said former boyfriends.

Just adding my 2 cents on Dean Cain doing well as Superman in Lois and Clark.
Of course I've always preferred the shows take on superman to the traditional one. Clark Kent is the man and honestly without the distraction of Superman Lois would've fell in love with him no trouble. Superman is just a thing he does out of a sense of duty really, but CK all on his own is a great catch and honestly much more interesting then his alter ego. The movies and what not always had Clark be kind of a bumbling doof who Lois hardly notices as if thats what Super thinks fitting in with humans is.
