Fan puts Derek Jeter’s head on the Mona Lisa, terrifies the world

Are you warm, are you real, Derek Jeter
Or just a cold and lonely, lovely work of art sculpture

llo

With Derek Jeter’s retirement coming at the end of the year, people are falling all over themselves to pay tribute to the surefire Hall of Famer. Teams are giving him gifts. Fans are making him signs and corn mazes. And then—AHHHHHHHHH

It's the eyes.

Centaur A-Rod > Mona Lisa Jeter

Finally, a Jeter retirement story that doesn't cause the eyes to roll.

Centaur A-Rod > Mona Lisa Jeter

I don't think so. We at least know the latter exists, right? No evidence of the former has been shown, I assume.

I wouldn't be able to live in a world where the centaur Arod ain't real.

I am alive.

Therefor, centaur Arod is real.

Blessed Saint Jeter.

Bah.

How does the excerpt leave out the part where Jeter spotted the sign between innings, saw the hot chick in the painting, and tossed her a baseball with his phone number?

The photo of that "ONE CLASSY CAT" sign with the two beer bellies giving the cats' heads a three dimensional look is the best thing I've seen since the "Looks like Jesus, throws like Mary, acts like Judas" sign that was aimed at Johnny Damon in 2004. The sign itself is pedestrian, but the overall look is sublime.

It's too bad Jeter's leadership wasn't around at the time to show Mona Lisa how to smile.
