Adam Eaton is 23, and just promoted to the PCL, but he is a CF with 3 year MiLB career averages of .347/.458/.497.

Given the DBacks skimpy budget, and current position in the standings, I would think this might be the last year for Chris Young. Trade deadline if he comes back, plays well and DBacks are well out.

Edit: oops, his OBP and SLG even higher than I remember.

It would be really weird if there were a good player named Adam Eaton.

I hope he gets traded to Texas.

Wil Myers started at 3B today. WTF?

Maybe they want to call him up and get some ABs while Moustakas is out?

Also, what's up with Danny Duffy? Left in the first inning of Sunday's game due to an elbow issue, have there been more details?

A gratuitous Nazi reference in the headline? That's kind of odd...

Isn't Will to Power more a Nietzsche thing than a Nazi thing? Or is he tainted by association now.

though i think my fellow brewer fans will be grousing once marcum and greinke leave and the crew is left to watch lawrie and odorizzi do well in their new homes

Sorta. "Will to Power" was the title of a collection of Nietzsche's writings that was assembled, edited, and published by his sister after he went crazy and died. I'm pretty sure the phrase appears in his earlier works, but it was that final book that was really pushed by fascist elements.

Not that I want to really defend Nietzsche's legacy or anything. He's sorta the philosophical version of "Love Stinks"

Wikipedia entry for Will to Power only has a single, passing reference to Nazis. So I'm guessing it's not a huge association.

And since I don't know anything about philosophy, my first thought was the band. Hey, they had a number 1 hit...

My mind went straight to the comic book.

Heidegger made a lot of use of both the collection and the concept of Will to Power, and Heidegger was a Nazi, though somewhat out of the mainstream of Nazi philosophizing. That's the major Nazi-WtP link (edit: or at least the one that I think would most come to mind of the average person who knows philosophy without knowing a lot of details about the Nazis).

And judging by his record, this is not the master race.

T'Pau had the 1987 hit Heart and Soul, which peaked at number 4, while Will To Power had the 1988 number 1 hit Baby I Love Your Way/Freebird Medley.

And yes, I had to look all of that up.
