Let’s smash all the game 162 game chatters into one thread, shall we? There is a full slate of games, but as far as playoff races are concerned, these are the games that matter (although if you want to talk about any of the other games for any reason, feel free).

I dunno, 1st error at 2nd for Zobrist in 65! games and it was a complete and utter GACK! job on just about the easiest play possible?

The problem with flipping games: on the 2-1 curve to Prado that was called a strike, I exclaimed, "What! That was a ball earlier in the game!" Then I realized I was thinking of a pitch Alfredo Simon threw to David Ortiz.

Looked like Betances barely had faced home when he started his delivery on ball 4. I expect bad command anyway, but that could be a sign it's nerves as well if he keeps rushing.

Throwing the ball was a terrible decision by him, by the time he was ready to release it Upton was nearly to second. All he could do at that point was make a lousy throw (which he pretty much did) and risk sending it into CF.

Doesn't your cable/sat provider do ESPN3? All four games (BOS, TB, STL, ATL) are on ESPN3 tonight, and you can do the multiscreen thing.

Even if the Rays are 100% to lose the game at this point, I don't see how you get to 90% for Boston. If you give them 50% to win the one-game playoff in case of a loss, they would have to be, what...80% to win today's game?

Big chunks of that $140M were Beltran and K-rod, who already got cleared off the books for 2011.
