Francesa on Mets: "They said off-the-record they have plans at 80, 90, 100 and 110."
Cot's has them at $140M for 2011.
Not to hijack this thread, but the Mets only have $60 million committed each of the next two years, and $0 after that.
Didn't see THAT coming.

97 on the Red Sox feed
I don't know that they're even close to a good crowd.
The home crowd in Baltimore looks significantly bigger.
He's also not throwing very well.
I dunno, 1st error at 2nd for Zobrist in 65! games and it was a complete and utter GACK! job on just about the easiest play possible?
I vote yes.
I think they think I'm a troll.
Quarantined, huh? With what? Paranoia?
In other news, the Rays hitters should just not swing ever.
Flailing away will be their undoing.
Throwing the ball was a terrible decision by him, by the time he was ready to release it Upton was nearly to second. All he could do at that point was make a lousy throw (which he pretty much did) and risk sending it into CF.
Conradian Play [X]
I'll try and do both - but it does get ugly when I go crazy...
Actually, it appears looking at strike three will be their undoing.
Doesn't your cable/sat provider do ESPN3? All four games (BOS, TB, STL, ATL) are on ESPN3 tonight, and you can do the multiscreen thing.
"World Champs 2012" with the O being the Oriole O.
Yeah, I need to check that out.
Quit swinging at crap in the dirt.
Yours,
Brian
Save me, Moore, you're my only hope!
Can we swap home plate umpires in the Braves/Phils game and the Yanks/Rays game? The Braves got hosed on two pitches worse than the one to Jeter.

Heh.
Can the Yankees bring on the replacement level guys now, please???
It's not over yet. It's only the 2nd, and the cacophony of pinstriped crap will be coming out of the bullpen.
So, return to the status quo of three weeks ago...
Ray says I told you so.
Situation normal. Between the Red Sox and Yankees fans at Oriole Park they bring the same atmosphere as the many, many, many, many, many Phillies fans at Natinals Park.
stupid ass Yankees.
Even if the Rays are 100% to lose the game at this point, I don't see how you get to 90% for Boston. If you give them 50% to win the one-game playoff in case of a loss, they would have to be, what...80% to win today's game?
Big chunks of that $140M were Beltran and K-rod, who already got cleared off the books for 2011.
(It's always time for a Mets hijack, but nobody will see this post past the page flip anyway.)
