And one on the TV.
I am a big Jose fan but today didn't work for me
I'm definitely against it as well, but only up to a point as far as descriptive purposes go.
EDIT: Oops, jinxed him
Annnnnnd Tex with his 2nd HR.
Now, he will slap Geoffrey for good measure.
Have I missed anything? Buck wasn't thrown out for bench-heckling, right?

I did not remember this story at all.
They showed scoreboard with the 5 Cardinal runs from Atlanta.
So that's two things he's ineffective at.
The Orioles ARE. NOT. DONE. YET.
Yeah - 7 wins is awesome this month - just ####### awesome
This one ain't over either
Thanks anyway
Sign in Miller Park: "Packer tickets for Brewer tickets"
They also did this for BOS vs BAL after Teixeira's GS.
As many as it takes until he finds one the Rays can hit.
Why 3?
I'm rooting for whatever produces bonus baseball tomorrow.
- nailing down #2 seed and HFA for 1st round --> so far, so good
- Braves get wildcard --> still requires some work
Hart crushes lefties so this is not a total surprise
Let's do this, O's.
I am rooting for the Yankees. Rooting against them for any reason, including to spite Boston, is simply wrong.
Or Ray's secret weapon?
Against the current form of the Red Sox pitching staff, it's certainly going to be interesting until the end.
I will gladly settle for the 100.
And there is still life in the Birds, at least as long as Lester stays on the mound.
And is Hairston in the mix for playoff 3B? Because that's not so cool.
Enjoy Mets fans.
Hairston has earned playing third given that McGehee is a train wreck and Jerry not being said disaster.
Are you aware of the awfulness that is Casey McGehee?
Sigh.
Should have been more fun.
4-6 also wins of course.
2 outs!
Uggla and Reynolds.
-Buck Showalter
OK, I didn't see the play, but I think I'd instruct my third base coach to always end the runner on contact in a one-out, runner on third situation. At worst, you lose two bases (with two outs). At best, you score a run and put another runner on base. I like the trade.
Caught stealing?
Not very becoming
Doesn't the runner matter, though? And the batter?
Cons: He still can't put anybody away.
sigh
2 out single scores Lees
Dude's got to eat something if he can't eat meat.
