Dan Duquette gets hosed.
Per TFA, the O's are "steadfastly refusing to rebuild". How much of that is him, and how much is Angelos, I don't know. EDIT: Of course, the former can't happen without the latter.

3 of the bottom 6 are in the NL East.

3 of the top 7 are in the NL Central.

The Dbacks won the "most improved" award , woo hoo !

The dysfunctional mess that was the Tony LaRuss/Dave Stewart/DeJon Watson front office could hardly have been worse. So Mike Hazen's team had a very low floor to work up from. But they have done a pretty good job of instilling process and discipline, and so far their player evaluation has looked pretty good.

At the risk of sending up the Karl Magnus signal how is Duquette* getting hosed? Not only is he literally not mentioned in the piece but the Orioles finished last in the division with 14 fewer wins than they had a year ago and don't seem to have made any acquisitions that are likely to have a material impact going forward (no, I'm not buying Tim Beckham). I would expect any team that follows that path is going to show up pretty far down such a list.

* - ignoring Karl's insanity on the subject Duquette has never gotten the credit he deserved. He's not a great GM but he's good. I'd comfortably say he's in the top half generally.

So Milwaukee is the new #6org?

I think Jim is joking about Duquette being hosed. Or he is joyfully turning on the KarlSignal.
