Oh, and it may just be me, but the Primer Chimp seems to be very interested in that turkey. Better warn Scooter's dad.

The Blue Jays have signed Alex Gonzalez, which should make them the easy winners of the race to play both Alex Gonzalezes.

In the same inning? Make it happen, AOBMOEMNLNRLOENLpolis!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Who would be on the "All-Turkey" team? I would have to think Jimmy Gobble is a shoe-in.

No kidding. I guess it's Scutaro or bust for the Red Sox, huh?

Turkey Stearns.

Turk Wendell

"Turkey" Mike Donlin, for sure - great writeup on him in the new Bill James Historical Abstract.

Seraching for "Turk" on bb-ref turns up Stearns, Donlin, and Wendell, and also these names: Frank Brower, Vern Curtis, Turkey Gross (just what you needed for today, right), Turk Lown, Lucas Turk, and Turkey Tyson. Searching for "Gobble" only gets you Jimmy.

Turkey Mike Donlin

(EDIT) Damn you, OCF.

Mark Fidrych.

And Birdie Tebbetts.

Of course, there's more on the table than just turkey. Pete Appleton, Felix Pie, Luke "Hot Potato" Hamlin, Bill Bean and Billy Beane, ...

McGwire.

(Because his forearms are like Popeye's, and Popeye "yam what I yam".)

Teehee. *runs away to dinner and the UT game*

We have one nearby. It's a Thanksgiving footrace.

I think Felix Pie can be on this team.

It's also the consequence of eating undercooked turkey.

Sean Burroughs and Drew Henson, among others.

It's not a perfect fit, but they were pumpkins.

I think Felix Pie can be on this team.

I would think Pie Traynor would be a better finishing dish?

And no, thank you, for all who post, comment, snark, argue etc on what is arguably the funnest site online.

Manuel "Potato" Cueto.

There's absolutely no way that cover would fit over that turkey.
