Hunter Pence gets burned by Mets Fans

Today’s final game of the Giants-Mets series was a day game, and Pence’s biggest enemies brought the heat in the form of mild accusations on neon signs. They’re attacking your card-shuffling ability, man. Say something!

Pence has two homers and seven RBI in the first three games of this series, so the burns may not be working. They’re still pretty brutal, though.

I love this. Kudos to you, Mets fans. That’s some quality mild joshing.

I think shuffling playing cards is about the only thing I can do. I can't ride a bike & can barely whistle. It's like I'm not even human.

I think it is supposed to be a reference to the percentage of adult residents here without a drivers' license, which is indeed higher than anywhere else in the country (though nowhere near 100%).

New Yorkers are among the few people in the country who do know how to parallel park.
