Hunter Pence gets burned by Mets Fans

There’s another half dozen or so at the link, including the ones from an earlier game.

Today’s final game of the Giants-Mets series was a day game, and Pence’s biggest enemies brought the heat in the form of mild accusations on neon signs. They’re attacking your card-shuffling ability, man. Say something!

Pence has two homers and seven RBI in the first three games of this series, so the burns may not be working. They’re still pretty brutal, though.

I love this. Kudos to you, Mets fans. That’s some quality mild joshing.

Apparently Nats fans tried the same thing with David Wright Tuesday night.

Hunter Pence gets burned by Mets Fans

Seems a bit extreme. I'd expect that behavior from fans in Philly...

That's great stuff. I especially liked "Hunter Pence can't parallel park," and "Hunter Pence liked Godfather 3."

I feel like I am Hunter Pence. I, too, can't shuffle playing cards and I, too, put ketchup on my hot dog.

This is pretty entertaining. What is the genesis of this thing?

I think shuffling playing cards is about the only thing I can do. I can't ride a bike & can barely whistle. It's like I'm not even human.

But Game of Thrones is just okay.

I bet you eat Wonder Bread at home.

Was it last year or the year before that Met fans started holding up the Jerry Seinfeld googly look posters? That was great fun.

This is really, really funny and those two fans who did this deserve kudos. "HUNTER PENCE IS A GOOD SPORT" made me LOL.

Hmmm, where's the "Hunter Pence Likes Pavement" sign?

The parallel park one is a little strange. No one in New York can drive (literally, not as in insulting their driving ability), let alone parallel park.

Well they should all feel bad about that fact.

...zuh? If you don't mean it as an insult, I don't understand how that's supposed to be a literally true statement.

I think it is supposed to be a reference to the percentage of adult residents here without a drivers' license, which is indeed higher than anywhere else in the country (though nowhere near 100%).

I think you're taking this a bit too seriously.

New Yorkers are among the few people in the country who do know how to parallel park.
