In Play!: Denny McLain on the Detroit Tigers

And to think…there are those that say it is not the “real” Denny McLain on Facebook because of some childish (Stuckism rulz!) entries.

TIGERS

The Tigers got a super early Christmas present. Torii Hunter. How in God’s name can he hurt you? The thing is it the first five guys in our line-up: Jackson, Hunter, Cabrera, Fielder, Martinez.

I do have doubt about Martinez cause after sitting on one’s arse for 18 months it is so tough to come back and play well, but who knows, it is all about being able to capture your concentration: if he is healthy and can make some defense once in awhile, the Tigers if the pitching stands up can win the division by 20.

I personally would love to see other teams in our division play better and make it a race, this past season we, the Tigers, made it a race because of our incredible inconsistency.

Good that is says "the Tigers" after "we" otherwise I might have thought he was refering to "obese jerks" as a group or "fat crooks" as a group.

It reads like it was written by a 9-year-old.

McLain submitted the exact same article to a blog I edit. Yes, his stuff reads like it was written by a 9-year old, but you should read it BEFORE someone edits it. Yikes.
