Wow, Hawaii scored 3 in the 5th to beat Texas on the 10-run rule, 10-0.

ugggh, Japan , two outs away from losing, tied the game on a chopper that took a bad hope past the 3b , a error on a pickoff attempt, and then a single, then they scored a walk off run the next inning, doh.

The Aussie playoffs are a little bit screwy. Four teams make the playoffs...so you'd assume 1 plays 4 and 2 plays 3 and the winners meet for the championship, right? Wrong.

Instead, 1 plays 2 in the "major semifinal" while 3 plays 4 in the "minor semifinal". The winner of the Major Semifinal gets a bye to the championship, while the loser plays the winner of the Minor Semifinal in the "Preliminary Final". The winner of that series meets the Major Semifinal winner in a best-of-3 for the title.

Like I said, screwy.
